Greetings again from Kindness Ranch. I may just be a little beagle but I wanted to share this with everyone today.

Do not be dismayed by the brokenness of the world. All things break. and all things can be mended. Not with time, as they say, but with intention. So go. Love intentionally, extravagantly, unconditionally .

The broken world waits in darkness for the light that is you.

I know that seems a little bit serious coming from Princess Pearl the Beagle Girl, but, I felt very sad this week. There are some scary things that go on in this world, and I don’t want people to be afraid to be who they are. It is important that we do not let actions of a few dictate the actions of others.

I am blessed to live on Kindness Ranch, because as our name says we are all about Kindness. Kindness to animals, humans and each other. Remember to always be the light that shines in the darkness. All of us at Kindness Ranch extend our condolences to those whom have lost loved ones in the most recent tragedy in Pittsburgh.

I have talked in my other blog a bit about life on Kindness Ranch and about how dogs, cats, horses, sheep and pigs all are looking for the forever homes. Sometimes though we have animals that just stay here forever. We had a dog here named Enrique, he was a little bit old for me, but he sure was handsome! Enrique stayed here for awhile before our animal caregiver extraordinaire Mary (she’s my aunt )adopted him. He probably had the best mommy in the world (well besides my mommy) Enrique was loved every single minute of his life and he knew freedom, happiness and was not in the lab anymore.

Enrique had just turned 18 and was getting tired. His mommy knew that he would tell her when he was ready to cross the Rainbow Bridge, and this past weekend he told his mommy he was too tired to go on. Aunt Mary (his mom) bought him a cheeseburger for every day and celebrated his life with all the love she can could give him.

This seems and is sad, but, it is part of life. My mommy always says she hopes that we know how much our humans love us, we know when we are loved. Enrique knew that his mom loved him as big as the sky. Now we say rest in peace Enrique, we know you are waiting on the other side of the Rainbow Bridge for us.

Thank you Aunty Mary for loving Enrique! He knew what he meant to you. We hope that you know what you meant to him.

Princess Pearl says be kind, be loving and never miss the chance to pet or hug your dog!
